Awaiting Ramadan...

Though Ramadan has begun for most by now, we're anxiously awaiting it in the next hour or so.

Since we've been back to the states from the gulf region, the past few years of Ramadan haven't had the same feel, but alhamdulillah it feels like this year we are more in the swing of things as we have  new littles who are just now understanding what it is and are excited.  It's been so long since I've really done a lot of the creative things that we used to when my older kids were little.

So, I've just printed out our Ramadan journal covers

and inshaa Allah we'll have a Ramadan kick off meeting tonight where we'll read a little of Sittings in Ramadan, read Quran and start on our Ramadan board/wall.
